The Immigration Rules and Home Office caseworker guidance change regularly, sometimes at very short notice through Statements of Changes laid before Parliament. We work from the published primary sources and record on each page the date its content was last reviewed, but we cannot guarantee that every page reflects the very latest position at the moment you read it.
You must verify any output against the current GOV.UK publications, and with a regulated adviser, before relying on it for any decision affecting your immigration status, employment, family or finances.
Calculator outputs are estimates
Our calculators apply published rules to the data you enter. They cannot account for every feature of an individual case, including but not limited to:
- Compassionate or exceptional circumstances
- Complex or disputed absence patterns
- Combined or switched immigration histories
- Dependants and family members
- Suitability and good character issues
- Criminal convictions, cautions or pending charges
- NHS debt, breaches of visa conditions, or other discretionary Home Office considerations
Treat every result as an informational estimate, never as a conclusive determination of your eligibility. A calculator cannot see your evidence, and the Home Office retains discretion in every case.
